CHER: A style legend

by Mary Stewart July 10, 2017

Okay let’s get real here, very few celebs have continued to push the boundaries of fashion for as long as Cher. She has been SLAYING the game since the 60’s. She has sashayed through each decade, setting trends and turning heads.

Swingin' Sixties

Cher in the 60's was a balancing act of leaving the 60's mod fad (I mean, hello bangs) behind and entering the world of 70's disco and boheme. She killed it in bright colors, played with psychedelic prints, and basically made baby-doll dresses her b*tch.

Disco Daze

The 70's were a non-stop whirlwind of glitter, beading, sequins, and skin baring looks. I am LIVING for this Cher era. With her partner in crime, designer Bob Mackie, Cher has set trends that are still being emulated today!

Electric 80's

80's Cher was all about black leather and big hair. Her bad biker babe aesthetic is the perfect balance of smokin' hot and intimidating as hell. May I remind you that she was entering her 40's here???
